Women Conned by Paper Laptops

Women Conned by Paper Laptops

Two women who paid over $250 for a laptop got the surprise of their lives when the box contained a sheaf of papers taped together, instead of the laptop they paid for.
Earlier a woman paid $180 for a wooden ipad and now another bargain hunter got conned. According to the incident report, two women told a police officer that they were approached at a gas station by a man who said he had laptops for sale. The man said he received the laptops, in FedEx boxes, at a discounted price and offered to sell one to the women. On opening the FedEx box at home they found a power cord and a stack of paper wrapped in black duct tape.
A similar case was reported from the same area, where a woman was approached by two men selling ipads and laptops. She got conned with a wooden ipad.
